Support and data deletion
SignalPost support covers account connection, creator identity, available posting controls, upload attempts, provider status, disconnecting, privacy questions, and data deletion.
Account connection
If connection fails, return to SignalPost, press Connect TikTok, confirm the profile shown by TikTok, and approve only the displayed scopes. SignalPost should then show the creator nickname and username. If the wrong account appears, disconnect before selecting media.
Posting and status
Before contacting support, record the visible provider status and publish ID, if one was returned. Do not send the video unless support specifically requests it and you are authorized to share it. A publish ID means processing began; it does not prove that the post became public.
Disconnect immediately
- Open SignalPost’s publisher.
- Use Disconnect and delete data in the connected creator card.
- SignalPost attempts provider revocation and deletes stored provider credentials and active SignalPost sessions.
- You can also remove the app from TikTok’s connected-app settings.
Request data deletion
If you cannot access the connected session or want retained support/security receipts removed, email costea.michael@gmail.com with the subject “SignalPost data deletion”. Include only:
- the TikTok username connected to SignalPost;
- the approximate date of connection or posting attempt; and
- what you want deleted.
Do not include credentials. We may request a limited account-control confirmation. We will acknowledge valid requests and delete applicable data unless retention is legally required.
Report security concerns
Email costea.michael@gmail.com with “SignalPost security” in the subject. Include steps and impact, but do not include live credentials or exploit other users.
Service status
SignalPost is a public product. Public Direct Post remains server-locked until TikTok product approval is verified for this app and continues to depend on account capability. The app fails closed when the provider does not authorize the requested visibility.
